First Subway ride.

I think yesterday was my first time EVER, riding on the subway. Definitelly first time on the METRO rail. I rode the metro rail from Universal City to LA Convention Center to visit the LA Autoshow. It was quite nerve recking at first. I had to insert this metro token and buy a paper ticket so I can get on the train all thru this electronic machine. But oddly it's a "honor" system. So they don't even check if you have a ticket or not. That was weird. And yea its pretty neat, it sounds just like it in the movies. You hear and feel all the rail noises. And we go fast.. i'm sure about 50+mph.. But it makes lots of stops too so people can get in. But the people riding where mostly the lower class. So that can be a bit scary if you are not use to that enviroment.

Every Sunday...

I love Sundays. Sunday is the day my Spirit peaks in liveliness and in worship. But yea yesterday was really amazing. I had the best time worshipping. And the message was what I believe a KEY to Godly living. The message was about music is synonymous to worship. And that anything less is defilement in our walk with God. And I truely believe this. Couple years back, God put in me this distaste for secular music. I got really sick of what the world was singing about and there was no "substance" to any song. I pointed my radio to the Fish 95.9fm.. and Air1 90.1/90.3fm . And I realized and felt a big change in my life. During the weeks, my heart would sing worship songs instead of the secular songs i've been hearing. Its amazing. And from that day forth, I've never voluntarily tuned to any of the secular stations. I think it's been a good 3-4 years now. There is great music in the christian world. You just have to dive in.

Here are some of my favorite church bands:
Hillsong United.
Hillsong
IHOP forerunner music team (Misty Edwards, Merchant Band, Jason Upton.. etc etc)
Vineyard
Jesus Culture

Individual Artists:
Corrinne May
WHANG5000
NAMESAKE
Chris Tomlin
Shane & Shane
Starfield
David Crowder Band
Ginny Owens
Jaci Velasquez
Kutless
Rachael Lampa
Vicky Beeching
Steven Curtis Chapman
Pillar

Thats a lot right there.. Tons of great music out there. And if you bought every CD you must be pretty wealthy.. LOL. Cuz I sure don't have all their CDs. But i'm making a big effort to buy all my music to support them. I now have a great worship collection of music. At least 15+.

Dissatisfied? - You betcha!

Ok so piggy back riding on Heidi's xanga entry, Yea, totally dissatified. Not only just now but for the past 3 years... I'm soo dissatified. Because I've had a taste of His Love. And to not have that kind of Love in my life all the time is very very dissatisfying. It's the love we are to flow out of. It's the secret place Love. It's the Love that completes us. The love that wraps about you like the ribbons on christmas gifts. It's like chocolate fondue that just showers you in that thick thick love. Thats when you feel complete. Nothing else satisfies.

God I want that again. I want it more than just occasionally. I want to live in that love. It's the love that changes. Give me the ability and the heart to Love you. I'm far from doing so. MY littlest of hearts can not wrap around you. Awaken my heart. I love because You first loved me. 1John4:19.

F-O-F.

F-O-F... Fear of Failure. This is starting to kick in. Maybe I'm stressed about all the things happening in the family or maybe it's me unsure of selling my car and getting a new car or maybe it's my walk with God that isn't as great as I like it to be, but all in all, I feel that it has affected my work performance and that I have not been doing as well at work as I'd like. I seem to be forgetful of task that I needed to accomplish.

So once again, I rest on God's favor, God's grace, God's plan. I am nothing, He is everything. I can accomplish nothing but only in Christ that I can run the Race and finish well.
